Shooting At “Legends” In Amarillo Leaves 1 Person Hospitalized And No Arrests

Amarillo Police have an on-going investigation into a shooting that took place at Legends in Amarillo on Sunday, 11/24/12, at approximately 3:30am.

1 male victim, 19, was taken to the hospital for the shooting after being shot on the Amarillo Blvd. and no arrests have been made yet.

Amarillo Police:

On 11-24-12, at approximately 3: 30 AM, officers were notified of a shooting victim being transported by private conveyance from the area of ABW/Hughes to a local area hospital. The victim was a black male, age 19. It was later determined the victim was shot at Legend’s, located at 600 W. Amarillo Blvd. Affidavits were taken at the club from the occupants present when officers arrived, or interviewed at the police department. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the right forearm and right chest, and the injuries are believed to be life-threatening at the time of this release. The victim was still being treated at the time of this writing. The identity of the suspect is unknown, but the investigation is on-going.
