Staff And Students Evacuate 4 Schools At Boys Ranch After Bomb Threat
Cal Farley's Boys Ranch had to evacuate 4 schools today after a bomb threat came in. In a statement released, staff members discovered a statement at Boys Ranch High School “indicating the possibility of a destructive device”. Schools were evacuated around 10:30am today.
No injuries reported, and nothing resembling a bomb or suspicious package has been discovered.
"Boys Ranch High School, Blakemore Middle School, Mimi Farley Elementary School, and STARR Academy have been evacuated to a football field. Students with housing on site are being taken to their cottages, the staff member said."
Staff was moved to the cafeteria area about 11:30 a.m as DPS troopers entered the high school.
No injuries and no bomb found have been reported as the investigation continues.
