The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer will make its big-screen debut next month in theaters with Captain America: Civil War. But if you’ve already gone through your copy of Star Wars: The Force Awakens DVD and Blu-ray this week, and you can’t wait a month for you next Star Wars fix, we’ve got good news for you. You can watch the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer right now.

The film stars Felicity Jones as a resistance fighter and her team is made up of a group of soldiers with no magical powers. The film, which will take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, takes place at a time when the Jedi are largely absent. “It’s about the fact that God’s not coming to save us,” director Gareth Edwards told the crowd at Star Wars Celebration last year. This will make Rogue One the first Star Wars film that won’t have any Jedi in it. While the black stormtroopers seen in the trailer have commonly been referred to as “Shadowtroopers” online, they will reportedly be called “Death Troopers” in the film.

While it’s been described as a heist movie — they are teaming up to steal the Death Star plans after all — Edwards said he wanted to put the “war” back in Star Wars and is essentially making a war movie. He even hired Greig Fraser, the cinematographer of Zero Dark Thirty.

In addition to the film, Lucasfilm and Marvel will release a three issue “plus a one-shot” Rogue One comic series for release in October.

Along with Jones, Rogue One stars Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed and, of course, James Earl Jones.

A band of resistance fighters unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on December 16.
