There's about 5 retailers that will not be carrying the Rolling Stone magazine with the Boston Marathon bomber gracing the cover.  Even stores in Amarillo, like United Supermarkets, are refusing to allow the picture of the bomber to give it's shoppers that creepy look.  It's got rockers PO'd all over the world, stating that putting him on the cover makes rock stars out to be bad people.

Rolling Stone once put Charles Manson on the cover, so this really doesn't surprise me.  I heard they wanted to put Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Adolf Hitler, Kim Jong-un, Napoleon Bonaparte and that really ugly girl from The Ring on the cover too.  They're just evil people!

United Supermarkets issued this official release about keeping the magazine off the shelves of stores:

"(LUBBOCK, Texas) – United Supermarkets, LLC, announced today it will not sell the controversial August issue of Rolling Stone magazine in any of its stores.

The issue, which is scheduled to be released publicly on Friday, features Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover.

“This was an easy business decision for us,” said Robert Taylor, CEO of United Supermarkets, LLC. “To do anything that would glorify terrorist behavior simply goes against what our company stands for.”

Many other retailers nationwide have taken similar action in choosing not to sell the magazine.

Taylor added that Rolling Stone is only available at a limited number of United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos and United Express locations."

I'm neither here nor there on the subject.  I get why he's on the cover, they're doing a huge story in the edition.  Are they making him out to be a rock star in the story?  God I hope not!  Does he look kind of like some rock band guy on the cover?  Yes he does.  Will kids think becoming some kind of terrorist is cool by seeing it?  I hope to God not!  Are children really so troubled that they would have dreams of being a man who kills innocent people?  If so, we're doomed no matter what is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

I pose this question to you, who do you think should be on the cover of Rolling Stone instead of him?

The magazine with the interviews from childhood friends, teachers and more hits Friday.
