Taylor Lautner Voiced Role of Dirk Diggler in ‘Boogie Nights’ Live Reading

We all know that actor Taylor Lautner, who played Jacob in the 'Twilight' saga, has one heck of a body. Even Jacob's nemesis Edward Cullen (played to perfection by Robert Pattinson) commented on Jacob's penchant for not wearing shirts and showing off his buff chest around Kristen Stewart's Bella. But what about down south?

Well, Lautner tackled the role of the well-endowed and blessed-below-the-belt Dirk Diggler in the live reading of 'Boogie Nights' at the Film Independent at the LACMA on Thursday, Oct. 10, according to E!

The role was played by Mark Wahlberg in the film version, which hit the multiplex in 1997. Now it's time for Lautner to strut his, uh, stuff.

Judy Greer read as Amber Waves, played by Julianne Moore in the film, while Mae Whitman took over for Heather Graham as Rollergirl.

A live reading was held at the Toronto International Film Festival last month. Nerdy actor Jesse Eisenberg read the Diggler part.

Something tells us that Lautner and his tip-top shape make him well-suited for this role!
