Shakespeare Under the Stars: Palo Duro Canyon Hosts New Show
You know, the beautiful thing about Amarillo is that sometimes, we have a tendency to think outside the box. And why shouldn't we? We have the second-largest canyon in the world right here in our backyard.
We already know it's great for more than just hiking and checking out the different caves. During the summer months, "TEXAS the Outdoor Musical" is performed for locals and visitors to the city alike. Those performers have decided to have a little bit more fun this summer.

What Are The Texas Performers Doing
It's great to have a steady job as a performer, and TEXAS brings just that every summer. As much as these performers love to get on stage and tell the story of our great state, they crave a little more than just that.
And that's exactly why they've decided to branch out a bit and give us a little something different to check out this summer.
Which Show Are They Going To Perform In Palo Duro Canyon
Get ready for some light-hearted fun as they get ready to perform Shakespeare's "Taming Of The Shrew" for two different nights, right there in the canyon.
The performances will be tonight, July 14, and July 21 with both shows beginning at 8 pm. This is part of the 'Shakespeare In The Canyon' series they like to do. Last season it was 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream.'
How Can I Get Tickets
Tickets are on sale for both performances right now, and tickets are just $25 per ticket.
You can go to Texas-show.com or call the box office at 806-651-2181.
