Texas Own Travis Scott Gets His Own Meal at McDonald’s
I guess we could call it a rappy meal. Texas rapper Travis Scott has his very own favorite items in the new McDonald’s meal called the Cactus Jack.
For $6, the Cactus Jack which is also Scott’s nickname and record label is a Quarter Pounder with cheese, sizzling bacon and shredded lettuce, medium fries with BBQ sauce to dip, and a Sprite, per the McDonald’s press release. This is only the second time McDonald’s has offered a celebrity meal; Michael Jordan was the first in 1992 with the "McJordan Special" which was similar to Scott's meal with a Quarter Pounder with bacon and barbecue sauce, fries, and a drink.
"Everyone has a favorite McDonald's meal, no matter who you are," says McDonald's U.S. chief marketing officer, Morgan Flatley in a press release. "Travis is a true McDonald's fan having grown up visiting our restaurants in Houston, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts and cultural icons in the world.
If not having your own McDonald's meal on the menu was enough, Travis Scotts' apparel brand, has also designed custom apparel for McDonald's employees, let's see if they new uniforms show up in Amarillo. The press release also teases that more partnerships and surprises will be announced in the coming weeks.
