
Texas State Fair Bans Selfie Sticks on the Fair Grounds
Officials at the Texas State Fair made the decision as a precaution due to other incidents around the country.
Fox News 4 reports that officials think the popular selfie sticks are a safety issues on rides and around the park.
Along with selfie sticks, pets, drones, skateboards and weapons are also banned. However, you can bring your food or ice chests to have a picnic in the park.

The fair opens Friday, September 25 and runs through October 18.
