The Kardashian Sisters Sears Clothing Line In Trouble Before It Even Hits The Shelves
Say the name 'Kardashian' and most everyone knows exactly who you are talking about. Well they have expanded their reality empire and are now launching a clothing line.
Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian have teamed up with Sears to put out the 'Kardashian Kollection.' The line will include, of course, clothing, handbags, jewelry, and shoes. It will also represent each of the ladies fashion style. Kim's glamorous look' Kourtney's bohemian chic look, and Khloe's rocker influence.
But did the ladies come up with the styles on their own, or did they steal them? According to handbag designer Monica Botkier, they are thieves. Botkier sent Sears a cease and desist letter on Thursday saying that the Kardashian's $94 faux leather bag is a copy of her $600 Trigger Clyde Satchel.
Opps! Maybe it was just an oversight. The collection is set to debut in 700 stores on August 24th. It is however, already on presale on the Sears website. And according to Women's Wear Daily, Sears has pulled the handbag from the site.
So I have included the picture of the two bags below. What do you think? Is it a rip off or coincidence? If they did in fact 'borrow' this, what else have they borrowed?
