Confirmations by the National Weather Service of a tornado spotted in Hutchinson County have been made.  Spotted about 17 miles north of Skellytown and moving NE at about 10mph.

I can only assume the tornado is no longer twisting across the ground, because the tornado warning advisory went from saying this:
"AT 236 PM CDT...A TORNADO WAS SPOTTED 17 MILES NORTH OF SKELLYTOWN...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10
MPH."
to saying this:
"AT 250 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO WAS LOCATED 20 MILES NORTH OF SKELLYTOWN...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH."

Either way, weather is happening!  The tornado warning remains in effect until 3:15pm today, and the severe thunderstorm warning is now in effect until 4:00pm for Randall and southeastern Potter counties.
