United Supermarket Opened New Location In Amarillo

Amarillo seems to keep growing and growing!  With growth, means new opportunities.  United Supermarkets jumped on the opportunity and opened a new location over on Soncy street.

Wow, how time flies!  It seems like just yesterday I was moving to Amarillo to go to WT.  Back in 2003, Soncy was mostly empty fields.  And now, there are businesses all over the place.  Including a brand new United Supermarket.

Today the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony.  They even kicked off the grand opening by donating $50,000 to the High Plains Foodbank Kid's Cafe Restaurant.

The store itself has a new and pretty cool layout with a full seating and dining area.  And it will be an awesome addition to Amarillo because this store has created around 250 new jobs.

It is always exciting when a new business opens in Amarillo because that means our city's future is strong and we are growing!
