So here we are on the backside of July. The kids have been on summer break for about two months.

Your sanity is shot, your house is a mess and you just need a little quiet time to recalibrate.

Well, guess what? The Amarillo Zoo feels your pain, and they're ready to give you that quiet time you so desperately crave and need.

No, we're not talking about an outing WITH the kids to the zoo. This is a far better option and one that everyone will enjoy.

The Amarillo Zoo has opened up registration for their summer camp! Five glorious days of lions, tigers, and all sorts of other animals keeping your kids busy and entertained instead of you. How does that sound to ya?

No, the animals will not be taking care of your kids so you can breathe easy.

The summer camp is running from August 1st through August 5th and registration is open right here.

There are several different options for you to choose from, so it just depends on how long you want to ditch the kids.

It'll run you $125 to get rid of them for half a day, and $200 to ditch them for pretty much the whole day. You can drop them off at 9 am, or you can pay an extra $25 and get them there by 7:45 am. Don't want them to come home so early? Another $25 per week and they'll keep them until 5 pm. Sounds pretty nice right?

The kids will have a great time as they see the animals and learn about different ecosystems such as the Sahara Desert and tropical rainforests. So yeah, they'll get something out of it as well.

So go on, get them signed up today, and give yourself that much needed break!
