Fellow beer enthusiasts. My little craft beer hobbyists. We try so many different types of craft beers trying to find that one that's perfect. Balance, flavor, alcohol content. It's not an easy task, but a fun one.

We all have our favorite craft brew. That one that hits our lips with that perfect blend, rolls down the throat smooth, and doesn't bite you back after you finish that drink. However, it can be tough to find those beers sometimes outside of the bar.

Because of that, and our love for beer, we've thought about brewing our own, haven't we? You think that your expertise in tasting numerous beers over time gives you this superhuman power to be able to craft the perfect libation.

You start looking into everything you need to get to make it happen, right there at home. As you look into everything, you start to realize you may be in over your head. You didn't realize JUST how much really goes into it. Furthermore, you realize you don't have the slightest clue on how to brew something up once you've ordered everything.

Well fear no more, because Amarillo High Plains Drafters are here to cure all that.

They're back with their 24th Annual Learn How To Homebrew Day, and I couldn't be more thankful for it.

On November 4th at Amarillo Brewing Supply, you'll get to experience everything you need to do and get in order to be the next up and coming brewer in the state of Texas. There will be homebrewing demonstrations that are hands-on, interactive experiences where you'll learn about various brewing techniques, and ask all the questions your heart desires with those who know how to knock out a tasty craft beer.

The event kicks off at 10:30 am and is open to anyone over the age of 21. Yes, you high schoolers need to wait a few more years, sorry. For more info and updates to the event, check them out at their website here.
