What Does Your Special Lady Want For Christmas

Ahh yes, Christmas will be here before you know it.  And the hardest part is shopping and buying the right gifts.  In the past I have gotten asked a bunch what should I get my wife Christmas?

My answer: It depends on what she likes.  Every girl is different.  The other day some friends and I were discussing gifts and one said: " I hope this year my husband doesn't buy me a stupid kitchen appliance."

This make me chuckle because I'd love new kitchen things.  But I love being in the kitchen.  That is my favorite room in the house!  When I'm stressed I love to go and bake a pie or a cake.  If I'm in a super good mood, I love to go and make all kinds of foods.  If I'm sad nothing cheers me up like baking some fresh chocolate chip cookies or homemade ice cream.  So for me a new Kitchen Aid mixer would be a wonderful gift.  Actually anything kitchen related would put a huge smile on my face.

But not all girls feel the same.  My mom use to hate getting anything for the house as a gift.  So everything depends on the girl.  I have a sister who would love a new Coach purse.  Actually any designer purse.  My best girlfriend would love to get an Apple I-pad.  My other friend always wants jewelry.

All I know is that girls get really emotional if you get them the wrong thing.  So my advice to all you fellas is-get to know your lady's likes and dislikes.  If she is into fashion and style, go in that direction.  If she has a special hobby, buy her something she could use for that.  Just make sure that the gift is just for her.  What I mean by this is most women see cooking as something they have to do for the whole family, so a new set of Salad Master pots and pans isn't a gift just for her.

So what do you get your special lady for Christmas?  Something thoughtful and from the heart.  Make sure you know what she likes and you will blow her away this Christmas.
