What Is The Worst Part About Vacation?

Last week my family and I went on vacation and while there were some great parts, there were some pretty horrible parts as well.  So it got me thinking, what is the worst part about any vacation?

Every vacation is different and so are the experiences.  But one thing that rings true is that each vacation that I have ever taken, at least one horrible thing happens.

Last week went pretty well.  Our hotel was super nice and reasonable.  We were lucky to find some great restaurants.  We got to see a lot of 'touristy' places, but of course one thing went south.

I had just gotten a new camera for mother's day.  And I was super excited to be taking it along to capture all our great memories.  We had already been on vacation for three days so I had a lot of great memories to bring home.

Well on the fourth day, we took a little boat trip to go dolphin watching.  It was awesome, except for the fact that I got a little sea sick.  Anywho, while we were out watching the dolphins I busted out my camera to get some more great pictures when the boat rocked a little too hard and my camera went overboard.

Yes, I lost my mother's day gift and three days worth of awesome pictures in one bump.  I still tried to make the most of my trip, but I was kinda bummed the rest of the time.

I don't know if I'm cursed, but every single vacation I go on at least one horrible thing has to happen.  Now I'll admit it could have been worse, but it was still horrible. What is the worst thing that has ever happened to you on vacation.
