What’s Happening In Amarillo This Weekend
These are the kinds of weekends I live for. There's so much going on in Bomb City this weekend I can't even list it all here, but I will give you a few things that I think are pretty cool and will attend at least one or two of them!
TEE IT UP FORE AUTISM
Calling all golfers! Here is a 2 person scramble golf tournament taking place Saturday, May 1 at Ross Rogers (Wild Horse). It's $210 for a 2 person team to get entered, which isn't bad considering greens fees aren't cheap these days. The best part is, the proceeds benefit Autism United. There will be several contests including: closest to the pin, long drive and a whole lot more.
LEMONADE DAY
One of the coolest things around. It all kicks off at 10:30am on Saturday in the United Supermarkets parking lot on 45th & Bell. It's a chance for kids to start learning young about starting your own business, and it all starts right here with creating their own lemonade stand! Best part for us? We have LOTS of lemonade to consume, which is one of my favorite drinks.
STREET TOYOTA'S CINCO DE MAYO FESTIVAL
Here's a fun little event for the whole family to attend. Happening Saturday from 12-2pm at Street Toyota, you'll be able to do some face painting, indulge in some delicious street tacos (my fave) all while being entertained by a live mariachi band! 4500 S. Soncy Rd is where you'll find this little party.
Get on out this weekend Amarillo!
