This is quite possibly the most "Texas" thing I've experienced since moving back to the state. No where else have I ever seen a stray bull come wandering into my yard.

The Strangest Phone Call You'll Ever Receive

It's the strangest phone call I've ever received. My wife had gone outside to get something from the car, and was gone a long time. I went to the backdoor to see if I could see her. She was no where to be found.

That's when my phone rang.

My wife was whispering and sounded terrified.

There's a bull. In our yard. Charlie...there's a BULL in our yard! What do I do?

Apparently she was hiding behind the vehicles, and was trying to figure out what to do without attracting Toro's attention.

Is This An Animal Control Issue?

It's about to be. I seriously doubt the owner branded their phone number on its backside, and I'm not going to get close enough to check.

Absolutely this needs to be a call to Animal Control. At the very least, they'll know who to call.

Should I Call My Neighbors?

Even though I'm pretty sure that not a single one of them owns a bull. In fact, I know they don't.

I don't live in an area where you would expect to see this type of thing. This is definitely a job for animal control.

Could This Be A Supernatural Omen?

Checking to see what this could mean on a cosmic scale, it's not necessarily a bad thing. Bulls represent power, wealth, love, and fertility. That last one is problematic. I already have four kids. We don't need any fertility omens around here.

What Is The Strangest Thing That's Wandered Into Your Yard?

I honestly shouldn't be surprised that a bull randomly wandered into my yard. I've had a few "interesting" things pop up in my yard. Over the years we've had our fair share of rabbits, dogs, cats, and a prairie dog.

The most interesting was a goat that just stood and stared into my backdoor for a half hour before wandering off into the night.
