Former park manager Claire Dearing creates a dinosaur rescue organization to launch a rescue mission and bring the creatures to a sanctuary that Lockwood has created in America. Claire's boyfriend Owen Grady , a former dinosaur trainer at the park, joins the mission to locate Blue,^[the last of the four Velociraptors that he trained.
