Woman Robbed & Shot In Front Of Baymont Inn & Suites Of Amarillo
A woman was walking down the access road of I-40 W, heading to Baymont Inn & Suites of Amarillo to get a room for the night. She almost made it, but before she hit the parking lot of the motel, she was approached by 2 males. The 2 suspects demanded her to handover her property, shot her in the leg, and made off with her belongings in a gray car.
"The victim reported that she was walking to a motel in the area when two Hispanic male suspects approached her and demanded her property. During the contact with the suspects, she was shot in the leg with a large caliber handgun. The suspects then fled with her backpack in a gray car. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."
