Amarillo can be a bit devoid of entertainment options at times. We have those places that are strongholds for us when we want to kill time, but after awhile, we want something different, something new.

Every once in a great while, an event will pop up that we flock to because it's exactly that, different. Now, we've got something happening every Saturday for at least the month of November that could be a raging good time.

In the Hamlet Shopping Center at the Wrestleplex, there is professional wrestling matches that are taking place each and every Saturday! If you don't know about the rich wrestling history in Amarillo, it's time to brush up on it.

The best part about this? It's extremely cheap, and something that the entire family is going to enjoy. It's not just one wrestling match, and there's more to do than just watch the wrestling matches.

They have different vendors that setup at the event, so it's not JUST wrestling, but hey, it's the entertainment you go for right?

So the question now remains, is it WWE style wrestling or is it more of the traditional Olympic style wrestling? I haven't been so I can't say, but my money is on it's a mixture of both. Nothing against Olympic wrestling, but hey, it can get boring.

Tickets are only $10 to get in, kids aged 5-12 will run you $5, and anyone under 5 is getting in for free. Veterans are also free with military ID. Want the VIP experience? That's only $15, so why not splurge the extra $5 and have a really good time? Maybe you'll get to sit ringside.
