
4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes New England
A 4.0 magnitude earthquake centered near Hollis Center, Maine (which is located 20 miles west of Portland) was felt across New England at 7:12 p.m on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to the USGS' "Did You Feel It?" map, residents across New England, including the city of Boston, and as far away as Pittsburgh, Pa. and northern New Jersey felt Tuesday's quake.
As of 9 p.m. (ET), there were no reports of severe damage, according to NBC News.
