Everybody knows that shelter pets are the best!  They know when a family loves them and they give it back to you!  Here's an event you need to know about.

Amarillo hosts the life-saving pet adoption tour, Get Your Licks on Route 66. The 7th annual event is at Tripps Harley Davidson at 6040 I-40 West on Wednesday, September 23 from 1-5 p.m. The Amarillo SPCA is the local sponsor of this event- Fido Friendly Magazine is the sponsor of their entire tour.

If you're looking for a pet, skip the puppy mills and adopt a loyal, loving pet from the shelter.
