Muttfest 2021 Is Happening This Year In A New Location

One of the staples of Amarillo has always been Muttfest. It's a day you get to bring your dogs out to the park and have all kinds of fun. Of course, like everything last year it was cancelled. Here we are in 2021 and yes, Muttfest will be happening again.

This is great news. We get to see all of our fur babies in one location. It is so great. I am always so in awe of how great all the dogs seem to get along. It is definitely a fun day here in Amarillo.

The big news this year is that they have even grown out of their location. For the past 27 years we would head out to Memorial Park but this year it will be taking place out at Starlight Ranch - 1415 Sunrise Drive. This will allow for even more vendors. So a whole lot more room. It will still be the same fun we have grown to love.

Make sure you get this event on your calendar for May 23rd from noon until five. There will still be an opportunity for you to get your dogs shots up to date. There will still be all the fun competitions for your furry friends to show off their skills. The silent auction will still be a part of it. They always have a lot of fun stuff for you and your puppies. Nobody is left out.

Muttfest is put on by the Amarillo SPCA and this is their biggest fundraiser and a fun time for the community. It's definitely a dog gone good time for the whole family.
