One of the crown jewels of Amarillo is Amarillo College...yet it seems many don't realize just how great AC actually is. There are many who view it just as a kind of community college that offers a few courses to allow students to transfer to other universities.

However, Amarillo College has WAY more than you actually believe it does. I mean, they've got one of the better NJCAA Division 1 programs, and many baseball players have transferred to D1 schools across the country from AC.

"Yes, We Do That Here!"

That's the name of the new campaign for Amarillo College to bring awareness to everything they do. They'll be hosting some concerts over a two-day span to show Amarillo some of the programs they have that you may not be aware of.

Who Is Performing & When

It all kicks off tonight, October 13, in the Concert Hall Theater Lobby with Mariachi AC performing at 6:55 pm. Right after that, at 7:30 pm, you can move inside to the Concert Hall Theater, where you'll be treated to a performance from the AC Concert Band.

Tomorrow, October 14, brings about another performance for you to enjoy as the AC Concert Choir will perform in the Concert Hall Theater.

How Much Are The Concerts

That's the beauty of all this. Every performance is free to attend and watch. Again, the concept of these performances is to bring awareness of all the different programs they have available, so why not go out and support the students?

The performances will be at the Concert Hall Theater on Amarillo College’s Washington Street Campus.
