New Rules Announced for Amarillo’s Dick Bivins Stadium
Now that the high school football season is upon us here in Amarillo and everywhere in the Texas Panhandle, everyone will be running to the bright lights of the stadiums in their town. Here in Amarillo, that stadium is Dick Bivins Stadium.
Just like with every event you attend these days, there are rules you need to abide by. One of the biggest rules people want to know about is what you are allowed to bring into the venue.

Bag Rules For Dick Bivins Stadium
This is always the biggest question. What kind of bag can I bring inside, and what does it have to look like? Well, Dick Bivins Stadium has adopted the same bag policy that so many other venues have adopted.
Yes, it needs to be a clear bag, and it can't be bigger than 12x16x12. You can also bring a clutch in with you, but it has to be no larger than 4.5 x 6.5.
No Going On Field To Take Pictures
In the past, we've seen parents be able to make their way down onto the field to take pictures of their kiddos in action. Unfortunately, that will not be an option this season.
They will be cracking down on that, and if you don't have the proper credentials to be on the field, you won't be able to get down there. Looks like you're stuck to leaning up against the rail to get as close as you can this season.
Other Things To Be Aware Of
This season, you're going to see drones flying around the parking lot. Don't worry, those are random people trying to scope out your car to steal it.
Amarillo Police will be the ones flying those, and they are intended to actually keep you, your car, and your belongings safe while you're inside enjoying the game.
