Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari Saudi National Charged In Texas Bomb Plot

After Lubbock moved the hearing of a former Texas Tech student to Amarillo courts, he has now been sentenced to life in prison.  Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari was accused of plots to attack United States targets using bombs, and just to reiterate, has been found guilty in Amarillo Federal courts.

The Saudi Arabian citizen met his sentence of life imprisonment Today on a federal charge of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction in a Lubbock-based bomb-making plot.

Amarillo Globe News Reports:

FBI agents arrested the former Texas Tech University and South Plains College student in February 2011 after finding chemicals, recipes and equipment used to make an explosive called picric acid and other materials that could be used for making explosives.

Not your typical kitchen that's for sure!  A meth-lab would've been way funnier.  I would come up with a joke, but there's nothing funny about terrorist behavior, and I'm just not that freaking funny.
