The holidays in Amarillo always bring about sightings of different individuals associated with Christmas. I mean, Santa makes a ton of different stops in both Amarillo and Canyon as he gears up for all his deliveries.

However, while it seems that Santa is relatively easy to find, there are others that can be a bit tougher to get close to. One of those is The Grinch. One of the most popular figures when it comes to Christmas, he tends to stay up on his hill. However, there are about to be a couple of different sightings of him, so the kiddos won't want to miss out.

The Grinch Happy Meal Draws Him In

One of the most popular items wrapped around the holidays this year was the Grinch Happy Meals that McDonald's produced. It was a full-sized meal that was accompanied by the green dill pickle seasons for your fries, and the ever-popular Grinch socks. They flew out of the restaurants, and as of right now, you can't find one in Amarillo. However, that isn't stopping The Grinch from coming through.

On Friday, December 19th, he will pop up at the McDonald's at 2910 Soncy Rd. from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The kiddos will be able to take their picture with The Grinch, and there will be free hot chocolate, free coloring, and even a free photo booth. You won't want to miss this appearance.

Breakfast With The Grinch

That will be his second stop in the city, as his first stop will be at HIS Church at 6300 Arden Rd. He will be headed there on Saturday, December 13th, at 9 am for an appearance.

It'll be a pancake breakfast with him, and rumor has it, the pancakes will be green just like him. This will also be a free event for everyone to attend, so you'll want to show up early if you want to start your day with The Grinch.
