Summer is coming to an end and the kiddos will be back to school before you know it.  If you are still a little confused on exactly when they return, here is the dates and information for school registration.

August is usually the month that goes by way to fast.  Parents are in a rush to buy back to school supplies and go school clothes shopping.  At the same time, kids are trying to enjoy the last few weeks of summer.  Registration dates usually get lost in the scramble.

Don't worry, I have done all the work for ya!  Amarillo and Canyon I.S.D. has set all their registrations for this week.

All students need to bring proof of their residency.  This can be provided by a recent utility bill like electric, gas, or water.  Cell phone bills will not be accepted.  Parents can also bring a recent rent receipt or tax returns.  New students will need to bring proof of residency, birth certificate, immunization records, and their social security card.

If you are wanting to get your kids registered for free or reduced lunches, you will be asked to provide documentation on your monthly income and to fill out the proper paperwork.

Canyon I.S.D. has set registration for this Wednesday and Thursday.

Amarillo I.S.D. has set registration for Elementary schools for Wednesday and Thursday.  Middle schools for Tuesday through Friday.  And High schools for Monday Through Friday.

Bushland has set their registration for Elementary school: Aug. 13 to 15. Middle School: Aug. 13 to 15 and High school: Aug. 13 to 14.

River Road has set all schools registration from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon Friday. Registration will be held at each school.

Highland Park is not requiring returning students to register. But new students only, all schools will register: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, and noon to 7 p.m. Thursday. Returning secondary students can pick up their class schedule during the registration times.

Hopefully this will help you get your kids registered for school and on the right track for learning!
