Amarillo Parks and Recreation To Host The Summer Science Club

It's summer, so that means the kids are already bored!  Have no fear, Amarillo Parks and Recreation are here to make this summer awesome.

If your kids love getting messy, doing experiments, or just seeing cools stuff this is perfect.  They will get a chance to learn about Physics, Chemistry, Sport Science, Food Science, Environmental Science, Zoology, Microbiology, and Plant Biology!

They will also get a chance to meet new friends and get out of the house to have some fun.

The Summer Science Club is available for kids ages 7-11.  In order to participate and have fun, you must be registered.  The last day to register is July 5th and the camp runs from July 9th to July 12th.  It cost $20 per child and you can register at amarilloparks.org or by calling 806-378-9034.

The activities will take place at Memorial Park, picnic area #7 & #8, which is the gazebo and gazebo basement.  It will last from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.  Get ready to discover some fun with Amarillo Parks and Recreation.
