Over the weekend, Yellow City Street Food got a lot of love from a surprising source. Les Claypool of Primus was quoted in an interview gushing over the tacos they have there.

Just In Case You Don't Know Who Les Or Primus Are

If you're scratching your head wondering who Les Claypool is, and who Primus are, that's okay. We can't all be perfect, I suppose.

You've definitely been exposed to the auditory wonder that is Primus, even if you didn't know it. There's the ballad of the guy named Jerry who just so happened to be a race car driver. From what I hear he can drive really fast.

Then there's the piece about Wynona's big, wood munching mammal.

If you're still confused, then you most definitely have heard them at least one time thanks to a quiet little mountain town in Colorado. Primus is the band who did the theme song for South Park.

The interview was featured in Spin magazine, and was published on April 15. It's a quick "get-to-know-you" piece that is wrapped up by five albums Les can't live without.

The part of the quick questionnaire that is labeled "Excited About" is where Les Claypool states that they made a stop in Amarillo. He says they "ended up" at Yellow City Street Food and he, quote, "...ate some of the best tacos I've ever had in my life." You can check it out by following this link.
