One of the coolest places to go for a drink and a night out in Amarillo is the speakeasy at Paramount Recreation Club. We have plenty of different bars and places to grab a drink, but hey, nothing beats a place where you can get all dressed up and feel like you're living in the 20's.

However, there is only one of these types of places to check out, and it's in Downtown Amarillo. Sometimes, we don't want to drive to the other end of town like that for a night out. Now it sounds as if you live on the other end of town, you won't have to.

Sports World Getting Another Makeover

For the longest time, Sports World was THE place to go for dates. You could get some mini golf in, race the go-karts, and play some games. However, after a bit of time, they decided to jazz it up a bit on the inside.

Along came Mesa, a place where you could get some incredible craft drinks, and of course, the good old standbys. However, Mesa didn't last as long as everyone was hoping, and it shut its doors a year ago. Now, it's getting a new life, and it's going to be incredible.

Welcome to Amarillo's Second Speakeasy

Get ready to welcome Tommy Guns to Amarillo. No, he's not some gangster that decided to move to the area, but it's the name of the new speakeasy that is going in the basement of Sports World over by Cinemark!

Opening up on New Year's Eve at 9400 Canyon Drive, Tommy Guns will take on a 1920's prohibition theme and should become a favorite on that end of town. Sounds like a pretty solid way to kick off the new year if you ask me!

Suppose the characters of 'Yellowstone' were all Texas natives..What town do you think they'd be from?

Well, Therese from Crown B Ranch took a stab at this fun "what if" game and the results are hilarious.

Agree or disagree, you have to admit that this is one heck of a fun debate to have with fellow Yellowstone fans.
