FBI Stops Mass Shooting In Corpus Christi Before It Happens
2025 started off a bit rough when it came to attacks as it started early morning on New Years Day when a Texas resident plowed their car through Bourbon Street in New Orleans injuring dozens of people.
Then we had a car explode at the Trump Towers in Las Vegas.
Now, a mass casualty attack has been uncovered in Texas and been thwarted before it got the chance to get off the ground, and this one was targeted directly as police.
Seth "Andrea" Gregori was arrested in Corpus Christi by police after they uncovered a plan he was cooking up that would have been an ambush-style attack on the police in Corpus Christi. Sadly, there is precedent for this.
In 2016, there was an ambush on police in Dallas ultimately killing five Dallas police officers. The attack that was uncovered by the FBI in Corpus was a similar style attack using some of the tactics used in the Dallas attack.
Gregori began making terroristic threats toward the police department that alerted the FBI to look a bit further into it. Once they were able to dig a bit deeper, they realized there was a whole plan already laid out.
There was no word on whether or not the attack was close to happening, however it was close enough to where the threats were being made.
Back in 2018, Gregori was labeled a runaway along with his brother, but Corpus Christi police were able to locate both children and get them back home.
Gregori is currently being held for arraignment.
