Three Young Kids In Amarillo, Texas Found Randomly Roaming The Streets
Look, I can understand being forgetful or losing your focus from time to time. It happens to all of us. However, yesterday in Amarillo was not exactly a banner one when it comes to people's kids.
Of all the things to lose, misplace, lose focus on, whatever it is, your kids are NOT one of those things. They're sneaky, mischievous, and always looking for a way to do what they want. Apparently yesterday was a day where the kids won.

Three different kids were found without parents in Amarillo, Texas yesterday, and they weren't older children.
The first kid that popped up on the Amarillo Police Department Facebook page was a child they believed to be between 5 to 6 years old. Police first saw the child near SW 3rd and McMasters. They didn't do anything at that time, but once they saw him again around SW 6th and McMasters, they decided to pick him up.
They took to Facebook to see if anyone recognized the child or knew who the parents were. Just before 9 pm, they updated their post saying they were able to locate the parents and get him back to them safely.
Always a good thing. However, shortly after that, they posted AGAIN on their Facebook page in regards to two more missing children.
This time, a boy and a girl, both under the age of five years old were found near I-40 and Georgia, and if you know that area, it's not the safest spot for kids to be roaming. So much traffic in the area and a lot of people in a hurry.
It appears the person who found them took them into their home to keep them safe and contacted police. Once again, police were able to locate the parents, but in this case, they also contacted CPS. It doesn't appear they did the same in the first case.
Long story short, it was a rough day for kids wandering around Amarillo. I'm not going to sit here and judge the parents, I've got three kids of my own. I know how they can slip away in an instant. I'm just confused how they managed to wander off onto busy streets like that without the parents hearing a door open or something.
