Get ready for lots of fun, food, and entertainment at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum as they celebrate National Day of the Cowboy July 23rd from 9am to 2pm. You'll get to learn more about American cowboys and their Quarter Horses. A highlight part of the event will be the chance to ride an American Quarter Horse. You can also look forward to some of these activities such as barrel racing on the lawn from 10 a.m. to noon, make your own stick pony or cowboy trail mix. You can also meet the horses and actors from the TEXAS outdoor musical. The National Day of the Cowboy campaign was started in 2004 to preserve, protect and promote the cowboy and our Western heritage. Mark this on your calendar for July 23rd and remember it's a free event! Click here for more information about this cool event.
