It hasn't even been a week since the talented Amy Winehouse was laid to rest and already her dad has shocked many.  Thursday, Mitch Winehouse began passing out some of her clothes to her fans.

Over the weekend, it was reported that 27 year old Amy Winehouse was found dead.  Such a sad tragedy knowing that the world lost such a talented artist.  The cause of death is still unknown, but many including her family believe it was alcohol withdraw.

The fans began setting up memorial sites all over and many began collecting outside of the artist home.  Well this past Thursday Amy's mom and dad arrived to sort through her belongings.  Normal for any loss, but what blew me away was her dad.  After a while he returned to the streets and began handing out her clothes to her fans.

T-shirts, tank tops, jewelry and a few other things.  As he was passing them out, he said:

"These are Amy's T-shirts. This is what she would have wanted -- for her fans to have her clothes."

Nothing really weird was passed out like underwear, but I find this a little disturbing.  What parent would pass their child's stuff out on the street?  I don't know.  But the fans who received the clothing were very happy.  One, 52-year-old Brigitte Pividal, said of her red Winehouse tank top, “I will cherish this for the rest of my life."

Now she was an amazing artist, but I don't know if I would feel comfortable taking her things this soon after her death, especially from her father.  What do you think?  Creepy or sincere?
