A cross-eyed arsonist set fire to a lingerie store and post office during the August riots has been jailed for eight years. The only description they had was that the guy that started the fire was cross-eyed.

Andrew Burls, 23, started blazes at Regen's Lingerie boutique in Rye Lane, Peckham, south London, and a post office in the same street, during riots that spread across the capital last year. The damage cost more than $1 million dollars and left six people homeless.

Despite covering his face in court he denied everything but because of his distinctive crossed eyes the jury found him guilty on all charges .
