At Least 5 Dead, 21 Injured, Active Shooter Killed In Midland – Odessa

Our news partner Newswest 9 has reported that five people are dead and 21 injured after a shooting that spanned multiple locations in Midland and Odessa. A single suspect is also dead, and Odessa police believe the threat has been contained.
Initial reports initially included two suspects, however at a press conference Saturday evening, Odessa Police Chief Michael Gerke said they had not confirmed a second suspect and have confirmed only one.
The shooter was believed to have been shot at Cinergy Entertainment in Odessa.
The Music City Mall was closed down and will re-open at Noon tomorrow.
