Be Careful Amarillo – Criminals Tracking You Through “Free” Key Chains

I have been seeing messages flying around on our facebook about criminals hanging out at gas stations and parking lots around town giving away free key chains. The problem is, these key chains have tracking chips embedded in them. It's allowing criminals to follow and track you down. Please be on the lookout for these people giving out these key chains/rings.

If you see this happening or you have already received one please contact APD. Do not accept the key rings off the streets! They can not only get your location or maybe where you live, but it also can put risk to your life.

We ask you to pass the word on to family and friends. Also share this on your facebook so we can build the awareness and the police can track down the criminals that are trying to invade your privacy!
