Besse Cooper, The World’s Oldest Living Person Turns 116
The world's oldest living person celebrated her birthday over the weekend, turning 116 years old! I don't think I could last that long even if there was the technology to keep me alive to that age, I'm pretty sure I would just call it quits. So a tip of the hat to Besse Cooper for making it to an age I can only imagine making it to!
A bridge in Georgia has been dedicated to Besse, as Walton County honors the woman whom they say "only get's wittier with time".
I'd be all like, "a bridge? I turn 116 and I get a freaking bridge? Take your damn blue ribbon back and get the hell off my lawn you stinking kids!"
Besse is the world's 8th person to have reached the age of 116, born August 26th, 1896!
You keep kicking baby!
