Best Places In Amarillo To Buy A Prom Dress

I love spring.  The flowers are blooming, the weather is warm, and girls go nuts trying to find the perfect prom dress!  There are many places to shop for a dress, here are my favorite prom dress stores.

You can always hit the web and do some online shopping, but for something as important as prom you have to try the dress on!  So as prom season gears up, keep these places in mind for your shopping.

DNK Formals

They have some of the best, 'in' dresses of the season.  They specialize in the hottest designs including work from Tony Bowls, Sherri Hill and Jonathan Kayne (Project Runway, season 3.)  They also carry accessories and shoes so you can get the whole package there. And it's locally owned, which is always a plus for me.

Apple Annie's Formal Wear

Another locally owned shop!  Not only is there a big selection to choose from, but they offer alterations.  They have a wide variety of styles and a variety of colors and size, including plus, for any budget.   They also do dress registration so that you won't show up in the same dress as someone else.

David's Bridal

Of course, they always have a huge selection of dresses.  And at David's Bridal, you will have the latest fashions, colors and the works. They also have sizes up to 26 W.

Dillards is always a favorite for me.  Short, long, straight, puffy, they have it all.  You can come, look and try on all at an affordable price.

Another good go to store is JC Penny.  They have a little bit of everything.  A wide range of styles and price ranges.  A little something for everyone!
