Sounds Neat, But What The Heck Is The Iron Horse Shootout

According to the website for the event, it will be tailored to both civilian and law enforcement motorcycle riders. The event is slated to be a three day event for riders.

An Event For Both Experienced And Beginning Riders

The best part of this event, from my perspective, is the opportunity to learn from skilled riders. If you recently got into motorcycle riding, this is an event that will put you in close proximity with individuals who will definitely be able to show you a thing or two.

Not Just About Motorcycles, The Iron Horse Shootout Is For A Great Cause

According to the event website, the Iron Horse Shootout is a benefit with all proceeds going to a very noble organization. Proceeds will be going to the 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle.

The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle is an awesome organization that exists to provide assistance to the families of law enforcement officers or firefighters who are injured or killed in the line of duty.

To go a step even further, the 100 Club helps provide firefighters and law enforcement officials with much needed, life saving equipment. This is equipment that is much needed, but isn't able to be obtained with budgeted funds.

Mark August On Your Calendar

The Iron Horse Shootout is slated to begin August 4, and will go through August 6, 2022. For more information, check out the website here.

Let's just say that these folks are in t-r-o-u-b-l-e.

Amarillo Landmarks: Negative Yelp Reviews

Yelp can be a strange and angry place. That's what I found out recently when I decided to sort the reviews by "lowest rating" first.

I was okay with the people upset over bad service and what not. But I came across a few reviews that, for lack of a better word, left me speechless in their scathing negative reviews on some of Amarillo's most iconic places. Prepare your self for plenty of head shaking and "I dunno" shrugs.
