What is Labor Day?

Labor Day is a day to honor American workers.  It became a federal holiday in 1894 and it is traditionally observed on the first Monday in September.

It's the last weekend to go and enjoy all the fun rides before they close for the season.  Grab the family and get your WoW on!

Football Friday

Lots of local High School Football will be happening on Friday, September 2nd.  A great way to kick off your Labor Day weekend.  Check your local ISD calendar for times and tickets.

14th Annual Crime Stoppers Car Show

Saturday, September 3rd at the Amarillo Civic center from 10 am - 4 pm.  Admission is $5 and those under 10 get in free.

End of Summer Labor Day Bash Car Show/806 Fit Expo

Saturday, September 4th at Contagion Athletics - 9 am - 12n, this event is free to attend, free to participate, free vendor booths.

The Contested Plains Premiere

This historical docudrama was filmed near Pampa and will premiere this Sunday at the M.K. Brown Center in Pampa.
