Don't feel like waiting for the day after Thanksgiving to get all those Black Friday deals in Texas? Well don't worry, because you don't have to.

The traditional Black Friday shopping has kind of waned in the last few years. No longer do we see lines that wrap around the buildings, people camping out overnight (literally) to get the best deal on that TV.

Over the last few years, we've seen stores move to more of a model where there are early Black Friday deals online, some of them in stores, and not opening their doors until the day after Thanksgiving.

Part of it was in response to stores opening their doors on Thanksgiving evening. Many started to complain how it was taking away from family time, and they were 100% correct. I went out on Thanksgiving one time and I vowed to never do it again.

So if you don't want wait for the deals to pop on the "true" Black Friday, there are a couple of places in Texas you can take advantage of them right now.

Target is right in the middle of a pre-Black Friday sale, and I can tell you that the prices they've got on some items are true Black Friday deals. The ever-popular KitchenAid mixer that is always one of the biggest Christmas sellers has been slashed by nearly 50%.

A Lenovo Chromebook has had nearly $100 knocked off it's regular price and will only run you $139.99. Several TV's and Beats headphones are also on a significant markdown.

Need to wait until payday next week? I get it. Walmart is coming through clutch for you. Their pre-Black Friday specials will begin on November 11th and run through November 17th.

Among the items they'll have for sale include a 75-inch TCL Roku TV for only $378, a restored Apple MacBook Pro for only $299, and nearly $100 off a balsam spruce fake tree if you're in the market for a new Christmas tree.

Black Friday is now a month-long event in Texas, so take advantage of it while you can.
