Brooklyn Students and Parents Launch Flash Mob to LMFAO + Black Eyed Peas
We don’t know what’s worse in this situation: the fact that parents, yes, parents — those people whose goal in life is to embarrass you no matter how old you you are — joined together for a 10-minute flash mob, or the fact that they chose to do it to LMFAO and the Black Eyed Peas.
Parents having the ability to be coordinated enough to perform a flash mob is amazing in and of itself, considering our mom can barely walk and chew gum at the same time. But the parents of students at P.S. 10 in Brooklyn proved otherwise, and their kids actually loved it.
Students gathered on the playground of the Magnet School Of Math Science & Design Technology in Park Slope and were mesmerized by their parents dancing along to a classical tune. But wait for it! The tune then transitioned to the Black Eyed Peas ‘Boom Boom Pow’ and then LMFAO’s ‘Party Rock Anthem.’ Parents then pulled the students from the sidelines to get them to join in the “fun,” and take a wild guess at who were the better dancers.
We, on the other hand, would’ve rolled our eyes and chosen to walk home, convincing our friends along the way that we were orphans.
