1 Mile, 20 Obstacles, Can You Do The CASA Warrior Challenge?
1 mile...20 obstacles! Are you ready?
CASA Warrior Challenge is going to take place April 14th at the Amarillo Netplex located at 4101 Hillside Rd.
The challenge is a one mile, 20 obstacle test to see who is the fastest individual, team, and youth to conquer this professionally designed course. All proceeds from the event go directly to CASA.
When a child have been removed from their homes because of neglect or abuse, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are appointed by a judge.
CASA volunteers can seek out or recommend suitable placement. CASA has actually found relatives willing to take children when there seemed to be no hope.
CASA volunteers help children with things like tutoring when they have fallen beyond in school. They also make sure the child attends scheduled counseling and medical appointments.
CASA has done many events like The Warrior Challenge throughout the year. The events have raised school supplies for back to school. They have also done a toy drive for the holidays.
