Celebrate Earth Month With The Amarillo Zoo

The Panhandle PBS, Amarillo Zoo and local sponsors want you to celebrate Earth Day thru-out the month of April.

There will be special events this month such as Creating A Backyard Habitat on Saturday April 9th the first 200 kids will receive a free potted parsley suitable for attracting butterflies.Kids will also be able to get their picture taken with “Ruby” our costumed hummingbird character. Also a free Wonderland ticket per family will be given at the Panhandle PBS booth.

Other happenings this month at the Amarillo Zoo are the Vanishing Prairie Wildlife on April 16th and The Last Tiger April 23rd.

All the events start at 10am till noon at the Amarillo Zoo. Kids are also free with paying adults.
