Close To 3 Million Texans To Travel For 4th Of July Holiday!

You thought I-40 was crazy already, just you wait!  AAA-Texas estimates that nearly 3 million Texans are going to be hitting the highways and traveling for the 4th of July holiday!  That's a crap load of people!

Since the holiday falls this Wednesday, the travel days are expected to run from Tuesday, July 2nd, through Saturday, July 7th.

With over 2.5 million of these travelers all traveling by vehicle, and only close to half a million by air, we can definitely expect congested conditions, and confused out of town people to be causing it all through the state, especially here in Amarillo on I-40!

I-40 gets a TON of action already, with the added travelers, this isn't going to be pretty!

Expect lots of cops all up and down any major highway in Texas, and above all, proceed with caution my gentle, delicate snow flakes!
