We have all heard it before, the end of the world is coming!  It has been predicted over and over.  Well the latest prediction is closer than you think.

Radio evangelist Harold Camping is predicting that the world will come to an end this Saturday, May 21, 2011.  Yes you read right, we are two days away from doomsday.

Camping predicts that this Saturday Jesus will return to Earth and set into motion a five month countdown.  The "real" end of the world is in October.  However, he does say that a massive earthquake will happen, killing millions.

Let me just say this, Camping works for Family Radio, a non-profit station.  They work solely off of donations.  In 2009 it was reported that they received $18 million in donations.  Now some of his followers have sold their homes, cars, and spent their savings preparing for Saturday.

I am nobody to judge, but lets take a look at the real situation.  Camping has predicted the end of the world before, in 1994.  We are still here.  His company is conducting business as usual.  He has already set up a cover saying if you are still here after Saturday it's because you are not saved.

So what do you think?  Is the world really coming to an end this weekend?

In my opinion, no.  But if you want to be prepared, get right with whoever you need to and then come party one last time.  Kiss Fm will be hanging out at Mulligans Sports Pub this Friday and its ladies night.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.  Please share below.
