You can catch the ballet this Friday, April 15th, and Saturday, April 16th.

Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up was a play written by J.M. Barrie in 1904, followed in 1911 by the novel Peter and Wendy. The play script was not published until 1928.

If you're unfamiliar with the famous Disney movie, here's the short version: Peter Pan is a mythical boy who lives in Neverland. He can fly, has a fairy sidekick named Tinkerbell, and never grows older. He tempts a young girl named Wendy Darling and her two brothers to visit Neverland in the hopes that Wendy will stay with him forever.

The Lone Star Ballet will perform an original version of the play on April 15th at 8 p.m. and April 16th at 3 and 8 p.m. at the Amarillo Globe-News Center. Tickets are $10-$40 depending on your seating section, but if you used the code HOOK on the Panhandle Ticket website, you will get 25% off your ticket price.
