Fight At Las Chakalozas Night Club In Amarillo Leaves 1 Dead And Another Injured

Amarillo Police were dispatched to a disturbance at Las Chakalozas Night Club, located at 1533 SE 10th in Amarillo.  A person had called into 911, claiming he and his father were beaten in an altercation, and his father was dead.  When officers arrived, they found the son performing CPR on his father in the parking lot.

Amarillo Police:

"At 2:10 AM, officers were dispatched to 1533 SE 10th, Las Chakalozas Night Club on some type of disturbance. A person called stating he and his father were beaten up and his father was dead. Officers arrived to find an injured man performing CPR on a man down in the parking lot. The man down in the parking lot was identified as Lamberto Sifuentes, age 57. Paramedics declared Mr. Sifuentes dead at the scene. The injured man reported being assaulted with some type of weapon and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Justice of the Peace Thomas Jones ordered an autopsy which will be done Tuesday morning in Lubbock."
